Graphic Designs

My Experience:

Although I am currently a student at Humber College I have still had the pleasure to work with and learn from some different jobs.

Currently, I am working in graphic design jobs for both the Brewhouse and Canadian Investment Services. Additionally, I hold the responsibility of overseeing the digital marketing team at Canadian Investment Services. In this capacity, I organize the schedules for seminars, curate the content to be presented, manage the distribution of links and emails, shoot and edit videos for social media, and ensure comprehensive advertisement across all CIS social media platforms.

Graphic Design: Skateboard Art

Problem:  Find and do research on a skateboarding company and create a skateboard design that resonates with their branding.

Solution: In Primitives  branding and art they have a big focus on time and clocks, so I decided that it would be coherent to their branding if I were to create a design that played on the idea of the ” Butterfly Affect”. The idea of the butterfly affect suggests small changes can lead to significant and unpredictable outcomes in complex systems. The term originates from the metaphorical idea that the flapping of a butterfly’s wings in one location at a specific time could theoretically cause a chain reaction of events leading to a tornado forming in another location.

Graphic Design: Nikon " Today's Not Everyday" Campaign

Problem: Create a campaign that advertises that an IPhone camera is not as good as a professional Nikon camera.

Solution: I chose to execute this by making the campaign “Today’s Not Everyday” to signify the importance of special days that deserved to be captured using the best camera out there not just an iPhone. I chose to capture this by showing a wedding, family photoshoot, and graduation.

Graphic Design: The Weeknd " The Highlights" Album Cover

Problem: Create one of my favourite artist a new album cover that fits their personal branding.

Solution: I chose to advertise his different shows he has done from multiple of his concerts and use each of them to build him as a whole person. While still maintaining consistency to his usual branding for his album covers.
